These new products join the company’s expansive line of more than 80 industrial grade double-sided tapes designed for temporary and permanent bonding applications.

　　Meet the Products

　　Building on its strong reputation as a supplier of high-performance bonding tapes, representatives of tesa are pleased to introduce two new foam-based double-sided tapes developed specifically for climate-controlled bonding and mounting applications. These new products are:

　　• tesa® 64956 – 32 mils / 800 microns

　　• tesa® 64962 – 63 mils / 1600 microns

　　Both tapes are built on a durable polyethylene foam material, lending them enhanced bonding power relative to their thickness levels. The tried-and-true foam material also offers additional benefits, such as: 1) expansion and contraction abilities due to modest variations in indoor temperature and humidity levels, and 2) conformance to varying or slightly uneven surfaces, thus ensuring a total surface bond.

　　Complementing the time-tested polyethylene foam of both new products is a specially-formulated rubber adhesive system which has been optimized for secure bonding to a variety of differing surfaces and materials commonly found in indoor environments, including hard-to-stick-to surfaces and surfaces with low surface energy.
